Default Ferrari 308 vs Dodge Challenger

They could have at least showed a Challenger that wasn't falling apart:

Notice all of the gas leaking out when it corners.

Funny how we think alike. Two years ago when I got my dad Season 1 of Magnum P.I. for Christmas and saw that for myself, I was thinking the same thing. The truth is they had to find a old one because a good one if equipped with one of the good engines would have pounded that Ferrari 308.

Those were not very fast by now day or 70s standards. They didn't have a very big engine. Don't get me wrong I'd love to have one, but they were more a vehicle to look at and not so much for power. Of course this was 1981, so that was okay for back then. I believe the Corvette was quicker from back then.

LOL, I just came across this, I love the show Magnum P.I. There was another episode where he was being chased by a 1970 G.T.O. and he was like, "No matter how fast you think your car is there is always one that's faster". I agree with you about the 308, it's not like it was a '71 Daytona.

Its funny how almost all movies with old mopars always end up being crashed[:'(].
I used to watch the show when it came out, but this is the first time seeing that scene. I was to young to know about any cars at that time.

My favorite episode(s) was the two parter where he has the dream he's back in Vietnam with his Wife and Rick and T.C. and then it happens for real and he has that shoot out with his .45.

Isn't that the one where I runs into his long lost wife?

Yeah, exactly! It was the coolest ever. If u get the DVDs it's awesome 'cause it's like watching a movie with no commercials and like I said it was a two-parter but if u have the DVDs they edit it perfect into 1 long one. I think it was from season 2 and it's called Memories Are Forever. Here is a link about his shirts and BTW yes I have one lol.http://www.mauishirts.com/magnum-pi.html

I thought so. I already have season 2 and my father has season 1. You're right that it is like watching a movie. The only thing is I have had problems with the DVDs from Universal Studios and have had to return the discs more than once. Have you also had this problem.
