No offense meant but I just don't like any of the new chargers. I think giving that platform the name Charger is an insult to the legacy of a great American Muscle car.

I used to feel that way, too, Paladin, but the more I look at the current Chargers, the more I like them. A guy I know recently rented a Chrysler 300 to test it out, as he's interested in buying one, and he let me drive it. Very nice car to drive, so I imagine the Charger would be much the same. Also, the front doors are big enough that the B pillar is far enough back that I wasn't looking right at it every time I looked to the left.

Where or not it is a true Charger, it is a very nice car and a bargin for what it is. It looks excellent. I wish my parents had more interesting taste. Besides, if it would have been named the Coronet, Polara, Monaco, Magnum sedan, or even the Intrepid for crying out loud, would you still hate it?

The charger is somthing i had to warm up to. I disliked them for the first two years. After that i realized they're not going to make the concept car so i figured just like what dodge actually done rather what they could have.


The license plates now say Hur Hemi..

I feel your pain. My mother insists that she will never own another car as long as she lives. She must have a minivan despite the fact that both my brother and I no longer live with them and she really has no need for a minivan anymore. In fact, she never really did anyways with a family of four.
