Ruined challenger for only $67,000!
I was interested to see what it'd look like with the black trim and front spoiler painted body color. I'm not so interested anymore. And what were they thinking with that fabric?!? It looks like a couch from the 70s.

RE: Ruined challenger for only $67,000!
I think it looks good... nothing wrong with it... Just maybe some different rims...

Dang Paladin... you must do a lot of gaggin and pukin here if this one sets you off. I have seen far uglier versions here more often than not... ;) |
RE: Ruined challenger for only $67,000!
I agree the cross stitching inthe panels is a 70's look. I do like the lightere colro interior and more details. I never did likethe raeally big rims. I've been worried that the "Donk/pimp my ride/hydraulics guys would get into Challenger, then...ughhh!

RE: Ruined challenger for only $67,000!
I have to agree with Greg.... It could make me sick if I looked long enough!
I have seen some great custom work, even if I didnt like the result. The inside only gets worse..... It looks just like grandmas favorite chair :-Þ |
RE: Ruined challenger for only $67,000!
Hate the wheels, the interior for me is meh.
|
RE: Ruined challenger for only $67,000!
I like the treatment around the headlights. It looks more like the original 1970 models. I'm undecided about making the spoiler and the rocker panel area white. I think you'd DEFINITELY need stripes to break up that much color. The rims are horrible. The interior is horrible. I might buy it for $17K.

RE: Ruined challenger for only $67,000!
Other than the wheels i dont think its 2 bad.
|
RE: Ruined challenger for only $67,000!
Don't care for the interior and the wheels are the worst.......The exterior would look real nice WITHOUT the wheels....As far as the interior goes....why?? (Just my two cents)
|
RE: Ruined challenger for only $67,000!
I like the exterior OK, the interior licks

RE: Ruined challenger for only $67,000!
LOL! Some moron bought it for $65,000! For a challenger with ugly inserts, a new sound system, ugly rims and some painted plastic trim!!! I doubt there was more than $10,000 done in mods to that thing and 90% of that was probably the sound system.

RE: Ruined challenger for only $67,000!
I hate the cross stitching , not my stule, and not a big fan with stuffing the biggest set of rims you can get in a wheel well, the painted trim isn't too bad, kinda like the skirting painted, makes the car look wider from roof line to rocker panel.
still in my opinion, not worth the $65,000, now if you were to take a stock SE and throw some genuine artificial canadian snow around it for a pic, then maybe the car would reach an almost an unbiddable price, but there is always a sucker out there. |
RE: Ruined challenger for only $67,000!
That is what I call the Pimp Mobile........just way to busy for me.

RE: Ruined challenger for only $67,000!
No sir, I dont like it. Rims are too big, and the interior is ruined. I like the smoked out rear lights on the white car though. The body color running boards are ok I guess, but I still prefer the stock look.

Rear looks good with the blacked out taillights. The 1.5" lowering looks great. I would not have gone 24", maybe 22" on the wheels. But 24's do not look out of proportion to the car, huge beast that it is. I agree with the haters on the wheel design though. Yuk. But maybe if you hate it you are just not the target market.
The interior is not to my taste, but it seems to have been thought out with an overall design in mind, and to have been executed well in terms of quality. They call is customizing because it is not to everyone's taste. If it was, they'd sell it that way from the factory. Let's not hate so hard on a decently done project. There are no leopard print seatcovers, Pep Boys spinner hubcaps, fart-can exhaust, or bubbly purple window tint visible.... ;) |
RE: Ruined challenger for only $67,000!
All I can say is that looks like something Hugh Heffner would own...hang a disco ball from the rearview mirror and you are good to go. Are those tires or wagon wheels...can't tell, what a waste of a beautiful car. Just my $0.69

Here is the biggest problem i see. the details talk more about the sound system then it does about what is under the hood..... Who buys a car based on speakers???

RE: Ruined challenger for only $67,000!
That's cool Dude! The front lip and the rims were really awesome. And the drop were perfect.

Wheels not that great, that interior is ugly with the stitching/pattern but the rest of the car is ok. Too much of white though...
