Default Challenger Commercial

I'd think a good skit for a Challenger commercial would be to have a clip from Vanishing Point, the real one, and the two cars racing toward each then sliding meeting just nose to nose. Then someone would say, :The past meets the present, the thrill is back". Then both cars do a serious burn-out going in opposing directions.

I can see it clear as the fingers on my hand!

The one from VP must be White and they can dub in the guy who drove in the movie. The new car must be HEMI orange and Darrell Alderman from NHRA should be at the wheel.

This kind of thing makes my mouth water.

Absolutely agree! Cool concept and they should end it with Barry Newman staring into the camera telling you to buy one now!!!

I like that idea. Take a Mustang and Camaro (upcoming model) at a red light, have the Mustang and Camaro drivers glaring at each other and not even noticing the Challenger at first. After the light turns green, have the Challenger kick the Mustang's and Camaro's butts and at the next stop light, have the Mustang and Camaro drivers finally catch up with their jaws dropped, and have the Challenger driver say, "Yeah, its got a HEMI!" Then have him speed off doing a burn out.

Great idea for a commercial and what a way to kick off a new muscle car war of the new century.
