Jan. 19th is the date the SRT is on docket to be on the block I searched the Berrett site to find the day.

 

Reports are that the concept car will be the one "standing in" for the 2008 model. Dodge will not be letting "the cat out of the bag" until the Feb. 3 Chicago Auto Show.

 

Correct and I wonder if the stand in is going to be the one that my dealership said they will have on floor mid Jan. I live in Tucson AZ. may be posabley same car.

 

Which dealer do you work for? My brother in law is the Tucson Marketing Director at Chapman Group & he has had little luck getting any information (although I have not spoken to him in a couple weeks). I am hoping he can help me with the deal when I am ready to buy. Until I get to see one up close and personal I am not pulling the trigger. I am going to BJ and was hoping they would have the production car but we will see.

I do not think they broadcast the auction live so you would not steal the thunder from the Chicago show (if I am right about that).

 

are you talking about the concept at the auto show or your dealer is having the concept at their place??

 

I deal with Jim Click I don't work for them though. Yes I think the consept car for the stand in at auction may be the one that the dealership is talking about having on there show room floor in mid Jan.

 

rich, i looked at the show schedule, and it appears that yes the concept will be at barrett jackson, but after that its heading to the east coast for a show.
