Wonder why they priced it at $40,095. Couldn't they have made it $39,995 (with GGT)? Would've just sounded better. Did Chrysler really need that extra $92 ($8 to the dealer)? In the $30K range and you think Mustang GT. In the $40K range and you think base Vette.
True....always thought that was an unbreakable marketing mantra....one/5 (dollars/cents) under even if it's a penny or so....
great point

Yeah... let's see $40,095 minus $2,100 GG Tax comes to ... let's see... carry the one... and AHH... $37,995
Looks like they did the math but got buggered up with the GG tax. $37,995 sounds much nicer. Cheers!
Do the Mustang prices already have the GG tax rolled in?

yes i got the same email.... but i also saw the LS9 vette announced with 620 hp... and knowing chevy's propensity to put the vette engine in the camaro was thinking.. maybe i should wait and see how much hp the camaro has... but then again i am sure dodge will match what ever chev comes out with
I have waited 2 years, and probably another before I purchase, but heck, no matter horsepower for either the coming camaro or new mustang, they just aren't a mopar and certainly aren't the Challenger. I have no other thoughts besides the Challenger.
I got mine the other day as well... I'm realy curious as to how silver will look on the Challenger though. I can imagine black, hemi-orange but I'm having a hard time imagining silver.[&:]
