Default 2008 Dodge Challenger pricing

I am a Dodge dealer in Texas. For those interested, I have a few Challengers available for sale. I am not asking crazy money over MSRP.. just realistic MSRP plus pricing. Several are already sold so if you have an interest let me know.
Good luck. I have personally seen and sat in a show car. It is incredible.

Production show car? Please elaborate and describe the interior if you can.

yes, show car.

Black with realy nice leather. Looked great. The production challenger will be more Charger like on the interior. Radio and controls etc but the dash will be unique.

I should have pics in the next couple of weeks.

Do you have VINs for the Challengers your selling? If you already have a few sold, I'm curious to how many actual VIN's you have. We're one of the largest Dodge dealers in the country and have only been given one VIN.

Just curious. What do you mean by "plus pricing"? I'm assuming that is over sticker so how much are you asking?

Anthony, I have a question on how these cars are sold and how it is determined who gets them. I thought the dealer had to have allocation, the order confirmed back by Dodge as accepted, and a build number issued. I mentioned that and jeepsalesman so it doens't work like that. I asked him how it worked and he didn't answer. So I am asking you, if you could be so kind, to explain how you know your car will be built. I'm asking this because I ordered later than most and am a bit worried I may be shut out. Current status is "C" last time I checked.

Thanks alot!

I'm not 100% up to snub on what all the order codes are, but I believe this is them:

BB - review by fleet department
BD - special equipment processing
BE - edit error
BG - passed edit n/a for schedule
BGL - edit ok parts unavailable
BX - passed edit available for schedule
C - sub firm
D - firm schedule - dealer has allocation and all parts available
D1 - gateline schedule - scheduled to be built
E - frame
F - paint
G - trim
I - built not ok'd
J - built ok'd
JB - shipped to body vendor
JE - emission check
JS - shipped to storage
KZ - released by plant , invoiced
KZL - released - not shipped
KZM - first rail departure
KZN - first rail arrival
KZO - delayed/recieved
KZOA - plant holds
KZOB - zone/distribution holds
KZOC - carrier delays
KZOD - carrier holds
KZOE - mis-shipped vehicle
KZOF - show/test vehicle
KZOG - damaged vehicle
KZOH - all other reasons
KZT - second rail departure
KZU - second rail arrival
KZX - delivered to dealer
ZA - canceled

"C" status would mean your car has not been allocated and does not have a firm production date.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: ONE CENT over MSRP for ANY vehicle is crazy money. I'll wait till there are too many '09s for you to move and you'll be selling UNDER MSRP, thanks.

A USA today story tells us who Steven Wolf is, by the way:

"My daughter will be 16 pretty soon. She wants an SUV. I think the Durango is just a little too big for her. What else do I have in my product lineup here that I could sell her? Nothing," says Steven Wolf, general manager of Helfman Dodge in Houston. "This new sport-utility will give me a whole new segment of buyers that I don't have access to."

Not sure I like this forum being turned into an advertising venue for Dodge Dealers. What say, moderators?
