Default Planned mods for your new Challenger

For those of you who are sticking to your guns and paying the extra dollars to get one of the first srt8's, what are you going to do to the car..if anything, first?

Im holding out for my dream car which would be a manual car in solid black with the biggest hemi available.
Id add to this a matt black hood with functional shaker scoop and retro style racing hood pins.
If noone releases one (which would be a missed opportunity!) id get a pal to make me a black louvered rear window cover (AAR style)
Add to this a set of 19" torque thrust rims with fat meats out back and a nose down ass up suspension set up as well as some nasty side exit pipes and i think that would equal my ultimate badass musclecar

Whats yours

Careful on modification of the exhaust system, some states deem that illegal..[:@]

I'm thinking:

new suspension
new wheels
headers
(side) exhaust
intake
cams
new ECU program

Maybe down the line some new heads.

i hear you chris, im not a big fan of the stock rims. Too big and flash for my liking. I think ill go to 19's and torque thrust old skool style rims. Headers are a must and the side exhausts are the only way to go.
I hear the diablo handheld tuner works well on the hemi from the chargerforums.
Im not a fan of supercharged motors, feels like fake horsepower to me. Thats what really lets down the GT500 and the ford GT to me. Small blocks with blowers to make the big power numbers. Dodge always have the right idea, you want big power? Use a big block in the first place.

That's a good choice in mods. The side pipes with a shaker hood and pins should be a factory option, but for now that is going to be one Badass car.

I plan on putting 15 inch tires, 21 inch front tires, and some Hydraulics to make that baby bounce!!!!
Then I'm gonna put some blinking track-lights in the ceiling to get that UFO effect, and paint the car Pink.....

you want a 95 impala or an 80s continental. Leave the musclecars to the drivers
