Doing some research and found this. Seems like some of the aftermarket guys are getting ready?

i'd rather go for tein springs
i think it has more options depending on what we need.

Teins are great for lighter weight cars, imports mainly, I'm holding out for the eibachs as well, I have Teins on my Lancer Sportback, great springs, I've had both coilsovers from them and springs on the Lancer, I find the springs a nicer ride.

welll it's official, I'm now going LOW, just picked up my springs this morning on my way to work. Eibach confirmed that the same springs would fit SE/SXT/RT and SRT8.



Product number is : EIB-289 5140

If all goes well I should be working in the car this weekend with the intake, springs, fuel door, and pedals. Hopefully my rear bumper fascia will be in as well to get the exhaust system done. It's like Xmas came early.

sorry, no I haven't installed them yet, the car has been in and out of the dealership for the misfore issue, but they are in the trunk ready to go on, can't wait.

When I go to Eibach's website and put in 2009 Challenger R/T, it comes up with two choices:
With or without "load leveling rear damper".
I was not aware of any such critter on my car.
Anybody have more info on this?

I just ordered the Eibach springs, part # 2895.140, yesterday from Hop Up Racing and today I got this e-mail from them:

Does your car have the "Nivomat" shocks? You can tell my looking at the shock. If the diameter of the shock gets bigger as you follow it up then you do. Eibach says some cars are equipped with this shock. Usually the 6sp models. If you do have this shock then you will need to also buy the Eibach shocks for these springs to work. If you have the standard shock (diameter stays constant) then these will work without buying the Eibach shocks,

I figured out that they're talking about the rear shocks. I've got the RT with Auto and I've checked, mine are the same diameter top to bottom. So now I'm just waiting for them to get here. I'll take before and after pictures and let you know how they ride.

18forever, will you install this kit yourself? If so interested in what was involved.

I'll be doing it myself. It looks pretty straight forward, just have to yank the front struts and swap the springs and replace the back springs. I've got a shop so having the tools is no problem. They said that they'll be shipping the springs out this week so hopefully by next week I'll have them and get it done. I'll take some pictures as I do it for others to see whats involved.
