Interesting. I like the idea of the forged pistons.

magnum force racing!

Another GREAT company is Magnum Force Racing! If you ever watch the show 'Rags to Riches' on TLC, the guys on that show use Magnum Force suspension components on the Mopars they build. They seriously have the trickest stuff for our Challengers. Tubular K-frames that are thirty or so pounds lighter that the original ones, big brake kits, you name it. I wish I knew about this company when I did the disc brake conversion on my '58! anyway, Magnum Force Racing is the place to go. When I build that badass '71 Challenger, the underside of this monster will have a ton of their stuff on it!

I haven't yet. I'll have to put that down on my list of shows to watch. Thanks for the suggestion!

Magnaforce are fine but if you want a true bolt in set up. Alterkation from Bill Reily is the way to go. Built by a true mopar guy and bolts directly in. Search Alterkation suspension and you will find it. If you drop me a line I can look up the exact website. That is what I put on my 72 Challenger and am so glad I did. Drives like a new car. If you talk to him tell him Jim in Michigan gave you the info and said hello. Jim [IMG][/IMG]

I hope this helps - Alterktion suspensions can be found at Reilly Motorsports, Inc.

I agree with you 100%. Altoughth xv systems are a great design, but there putting all of that weight to your shock mounts. You can buy a brace to help compensate it, but the AlterKation system in my opinion is a better engineered piece. I wish I had the money to buy one, instead I'm rebuilding the stock style suspension.
