what's the difference between doing this and just hitting the ESP button on the dash?
(on a side note, I always laugh when I hit the ESP button because the indicator light looks like a drunk driver.. :P) |

The ESP button on the dash will only disable it into nanny mode where it will still activate under extreme conditions and can be re-enabled by hitting the button again. When you disable it with the key it is "full" off and wont re-activate until you turn off the car.
