I would probably get the SLP system for the new challenger. If it the Loudmouth system, it might be to loud for me. My brother has that system on his 98 Firehawk, it does sound good, but a little loud for long drives.

Oh good then I have no problem. I'll just wake up the neighbors at 5 in the morning and everyone at work. Thankfully we got the wifes Avenger for long trips.

That's what I was thining Mirada. Go with the local. I already have one in mind, I just have to figure out if it's really worth it since I will be giving it up in a couple of years, if the Challenger is in the right price range that is. Thanks for the advice all.

Thats just too cool... manufacturers reading the car blogs that feed them. Thanks for setting the record straight and for reading our forums. And thanks also for the great Magna-Flow exhaust systems I'm leaning in that direction for my 70.

I learned the hard way to be careful when it comes to the exhaust system...I had 3" dual pipes with crossovers installed on my 67 Charger. The exhaust guy thought my built 360 6-pak needed the extra breathing....it now sounds like a NASCAR racer at Daytona!
Had a nice stereo radio that I was planning to install....not needed...couldn't hear it................and yes the sound from the exhaust really works on your body if driving long distances (may change out at a later date)....but it does sound mean!

I don't plan on changing the exhaust on this car, but if I did, I'd want the same results as I got on my 04 Ram. I installed a Mopar Performance (Borla Built) system. No drone ever and you only hear it when you're on it. It sounds real good when you're on it.
