Default G status, shouldn't be much longer?

I ordered My Chally on the 4th of Dec and was pleasantly surprised to learn that it is now in Trim Status. I think the plant will be operational around the 20Th of Jan, shouldn't be too much longer right?

Well, sworn, I haven't seen you much in the forum and welcome to the family. However, There are a few more steps involved depending on the model. If you have decals and such the car has to go to a different facility to get finished. When we were anxiously awaiting our SRT8s we had distribution problems and a whole host of delays. I certainly hope Chtysler has worked out most of the problems but just don't get too excited. Patience Padwan.

Good things come to those who wait...and the new Challenger is a good thing...hang in there.

After your Challenger is built at Brampton, ON, it must be trucked 3 hours west to Windsor, OH (Upfit Center) for the stripes. If you are lucky, you will get your car in a week or two. A lot of us, however, had to wait almost one month AFTER the stripes were applied. It seems that Dodge likes to place the completed cars in storage while they await full shipment loads.

Good luck. No matter how long the wait, it will be worth it!

No stripes, just a base Hemi Orange R/T.

Me too! I am definitely excited though!

Wow, I didn't know that. That kinda sucks!

Thanks, the waiting is the hardest part!

Wow. I order mine in the end of Oct and they still haven't built anything on it. Must have something to do with that little thing in the middle of the car that has 6 numbers and a R on it. I'm thinking I will never see my little red friend. Oh the disappointment, and no sarcasm there that's for sure.

When I ordered mine the salesman mentioned that the stick cars were on restriction.....I have no idea why.

The car I ordered is just a base R/T auto with no stripes. I wonder if this had something to do with it.....I also wonder how geographic location figures into dealer allocation and shipment.

The restriction may have to do with the problems a lot of people are having with the transmission. On the SRT8's a lot of people are complaining of a misfire in the number 7 cylinder. The problem has been traced to a computer glitch unique to the 6-Speed cars. Another problem has been premature clutch failures. One guy even had a loose screw in his transmission that shot through the bell housing causing major damage. So far I have been lucky (knock on wood) and haven't had any problems with mine. It took me some time to get used to the light clutch and short throw shifter, but I'm enjoying it now.
