What are you planning on doing? Are you going back to OEM cat's?

Greg,
I lived with the CEL for about a week until I saw you can shut these bank sensors off. Do a search on 02 simulators, but with the diablo tune I will send you, Steve fixed it in my last tune. Not a problem since. I have changed computers, so I either need to boot the old one to get the tune, or download from my tuner after I upload the needed software. I promise I will send it to the 3 that requested.

It's not the cat failure...

The light is telling you that you are flowing better then the OE units

If you decide to remove them and sell them... I would gladly buy that american junk for a deal :-)

I got the OEM Cats in the garage. Install scheduled for tomorrow.

Great support from Frank at Zoomers. I'll ship the defective cats out tomorrow or Friday. Frank thinks the folks at HHP might be able to help me out with a replacement.

Stupid situation with Magnaflow. They want to test the cats before a refund. So, they think I buy their product, pay to have them installed on my brand new car, pay to have them taken off, pay for shipping, pay for yet another install, and nothing is wrong with their product. You tell me what you think.

Never again, not as long as I breath.

quote from another hemi board:

just turn off the rear 02's using diablo, very easy.

go to modify tune, then 02 config, then off

Andre,I have always trusted you. I will try.

My only questions is why did it take from Aug 2008 until Feb 2009 to turn on the CEL?

Thanks.

This is an on going issue in the LX cars. Not anyone brand of aftermarket cats... just the codes. Some shim the sensors, some use a simulator, but anyone with a Diablo tuner just shuts the rears off and clears the codes. I have yet to see one who had problems as a result.
If you want to get fancy you have 3 choices for sensors, and the spendy ones are adjustable.

Mine was a result of the tune, and exhaust. Research showed me that the cats are an even bigger issue. The smarter the car, the harder the mod....

OK, so if it is a flow issue why did Magnaflow stop making the cats I/we have? I found the shut off function in my CMR tune. The 02's are off lets see what happens on my spirited drive to and from work tomorrow.

Well?
That was a week ago. Any issues since, Greg?
Curious - before I go out and get an aftermarket exhaust for mine.....
