RE: I FINALLY saw another Challenger
I had lamented the fact that I had not seen but one Challenger in the wild since they started shipping. My baby is safe and sound tucked away in the garage under cover from the elements. I was thinking I would not see any until springtime but last week during an ice/snow storm I saw a torred SE and a Black SRT in one short driving errand I had to do. I thought it was interesting to see two in such weather but happy to see them out and about.

LOLOLOL!!! Too true Roswell, too true. However I bought her to be a car I intend to keep and drive for many a year to come and Chicago weather does not lend itself to the long term preservation of automobiles. For the cost of this SRT it darn well better outlive me!

RE: I FINALLY saw another Challenger
Not only the most expensive, but the 1st new car I have bought since 91. I'm a firm believer in driving and buying a 1-2 yr old "Used" car, although the Challenger was something extra special that had to be done a little out of the norm. And boy has it been worth it. My 93 Dakota still plugs along though, while maybe a little, ok, a lot less exciting than THE CAR.

RE: I FINALLY saw another Challenger
Well Roswell, took your advise and rolled THE CAR out today to make a run to the store as it was a pleasant 27 degrees and sunny so I felt it was safe enough. Anyway, while I was enjoying my trip lo and behold a 3rd gen Camaro made the mistake of revving his engine and spining his wheels at a stop light. Long story short, for about 3 blocks I clearly saw the entire front end of that car growing smaller and smaller behind me. So, thanks for getting me off my butt!

Brucer, Now what better way to start the New Year than with a Camaro in your rear view mirror and left in the cold dust. Sweet![sm=gears.gif]
