Made up my mind: the R/T it is

Good choice. I looked at a black R/T this morning at a local dealership. Sweeet ride, I just wish they'd do an SRT8 in the Titanium color.

I would have to disagree about the ESP on the R/T. I have 120 feet of black streaks in front of my house that proves it. After bouncing off the rev limiter in first gear, with white smoke billowing out the rear quarters, a quick shift to second will keep the goodyears smoking like crazy. Maybe on automatics, but 6 speeds there is NO traction control when you turn ESP off!

with ESP on, it will still spin the tires as hard as it can for about 20 feet, then it shuts the fun down, hooks and goes. It only allows a bark between 2nd & 3rd. With ESP off, she will spin as long as your wallet will allow! When you feel brave, turn it off. I kind of like ESP because i feel more comfortable letting other people drive my car without them putting it into a ditch. ESP off is only for the owner!

so far 4 people have driven it. i believe in sharing the fun! of course, i trust those 4 people very well. i got a thrill out of watching their faces as the tach climbs and they work the shifter back & forth!

Paladin, are you implying that when I come to Arizona to visit you, I won't get to drive Crush? I may have to rethink my trip....

Somehow, I have the feeling that when Paladin goes home tonight, he'll roll up the "welcome" mat outside the front door and put it in the garage.
