Here's a little kink in my considerations. With the Challenger R/T getting the refreshed 5.7L HEMI, and 375 HP in the 6 speed, the "kink" is that indications are that not only will the manual NOT offer MDS, but the new engine will require premium fuel. Now I have to weigh all of the options all over again.

BC, you were only 5 miles or so from my Mom down in VA (Stuarts Draft where 64 merges into 81 by White's Truck stop). That can be a long merciless run down the valley. 81 for what like 500 or 600 miles from where you got on in NY? Ouch!
Yep, used to walk by the Bristol Speedway on the way down to Thunder Valley right next door. That was when Chrysler was out of NASCAR, so we weren't watching. Since they've returned, I've gotten to two tracks. Dover (nosebleeds but awesome view of the whole race) and Richmond, good, but no where near as good Dover.
Wife's cousin's spoke of trying to get out of Bristol parking lot, I think they gave up and have been there for a few years now! ;-)
Well, hope you enjoyed your trip through VA. I'm making that run tonight! It's beautiful, but repetitive. Farms, rolling hills, cows, farms, rolling hills, cows..

We took the shuttle (free) between the Bristol track and the White Top (free) parking area. Sunday was the longest wait, but much better than the last time I was there (10 years ago).
Yup ...... farms, hills, cows, the odd horse or mule......and every third farm is the enormous "triad" of crosses - 2 white and the middle one yellow.
