you're gonna be hard pressed to get an opinion on a 6spd manual yet as I don't think there's any on the road.I can tell you though that I LOVE my 08 with the Auto,either way it'll be one hell of a car and you shouldn't be dissapointed.

The option of 6 speed manual or automatic has got to be your choice. For me if I bought it for a daily driver I would get an automatic but I am not going to use it for a daily driver because I have to use a company vehicle. This is a vehicle for use on my personal time and I want to enjoy the driving experience.
Just remember that a manual will keep you busy.
You can't be smoking, using the cell phone and eating while you are driving a manual. If you are let me know and I will get out of the way.
You will enjoy it anyway because it is a Challenger.

I drive a 10spd manual in a tractor trailer and can smoke and eat at the same time LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but seriously there will be NO EATING and so far no smoking(but I do smoke and am having a hard time adhering to it) in my challenger,automatic or manual.

Get one! Auto vs manual is your decision, but the car itself is fabulous. I have never enjoyed a car as much as I am enjoying this Challenger. I feel such a sense of satisfaction every time I drive this car that I almost cannot believe it. Best purchase I have made in a long long time.
