So, was it a Shelby GT 500 or a regular shelby? If it was the GT 500, then that person could not drive or there was something wrong with the car. If it was a regular shelby, then I would assume an SRT-8 would win. But you do have to careful. With an intake/tune and a steeper gears, a normal shelby is capable of running high 12s low 13s.

Before we get into a... " thats not possible ect. ect." Just know that is the reason they run them. Anything can happen. Drivers against drivers. No one knows what the other guy has done, good or bad. If the guy in one car that would normally outrun the other, has bad tires. low octane fuel, very poor driver. If we just look at the numbers, then theres no reason to run them. So let me say nice race and good win SKiDs33t and I would of loved to of seen the video. gman please don't go into the gears and add ons... we know we know. There are alot of good cars that are made better by bolt-ons. But then its always who throws the most money at it. Nothing against the Shelby, its a fast car no doubt. But in that time and that place it lost. Done deal for now. Until the next time... this one goes to SKid.

OK I fixed the link. It was just a "Fun-Run" No idea what the guy in the Shelby was running, but it is obvious that he/she was not a pro. Watch it for yourself.

I was not trying to start a flame war or anything. I just saw the video and noticed that it had not been posted yet.
