1970 Challenger R/T SE.....value?
My neighbor is selling his 1970 Challenger R/T SE that is in original condition (un-restored). Has 57K original miles. 383ci motor, auto trans, P/B, P/S, A/C, blue with white vinyl top and white interior. No rust issues, no body damage, interior original and very nice, exterior paint 20 footer and original???? Any ideas of value? From what he says, everything on the car is original and all numbers matching. Has been stored for the past 20+ years in California (Sacramento). Thanks!

RE: 1970 Challenger R/T SE.....value?
When dealing with an original such as this, I'd do a check on engine , trans and rear-end. Do a Vin. study and see if it all matches. This could be a real nice survivor. The value is in its authenticity. #s matching could make this car really valuable. If it all matchs up... I'm guessing that its quite a find. I wish I could put a value on it. Hopefully someone in the know can help. But remember its pure speculation. Fact that its an R/T and an SE makes it highly sought after car. So compare it to like cars on E-Bay and auto trader to get a well rounded look at its value. I hope this helps some

Agree w/ Lear and I'd look at the upper end of the range of the cars you see on Ebay and Trader because of the R/T SE combo as well as relative survivor status. The AC and power options also are rarer and I assume the "blue" is B5 Blue w/ white interior is very popular combo. Also check if it has factory luggage rack. If so, only 7% of Challengers had that.
