Default Challenger or Charger I NEED HELP!

Okay here is the dilemma. My wifes car is paid off as of this month. I am looking to buy either a Challenger or a Charger. Now if I were going to buy a car today, I would definitely buy the SRT-8 Charger, basically because it is in my price range (buy it now on ebay for $24,995). However, I really like the Challenger better, but its way out of my price range (SRT-8). Do you think the 08' Challenger will see low prices like the Charger has now in say a years time. I am willing to wait that extra year, if I can get a SRT-8 Challenger for about 25k.

Thats a little shady, but it still leaves hope that I can get one for a good price in a year. Another thing is that the new camaro will get alot of people to trade in.

I think it will be possible but difficult to find an 08 Challenger in your price range. The 08's are collectors editions and many of the people who bought them will be holding on to them. If there are 08's available next year I suspect the price will be in the low to mid $30,000 range. I think you will be able to find 09's for about the same price. Just my opinion.

I guess it can't hurt to wait another year, just to see. If anything I will buy the Charger for what I want to pay and still be happy. I was surprised when I started pricing the SRT-8 Charger that they would be as low as they are. Considering that a brand new 07' Charger was upper 30's-lower 40's.
If you look at the Charger and Challenger prices, they are almost identical. If the Challenger follows suit, I should be able to pick up what I want for about my price. I guess only time will tell.

Default If you wait

If the economy pick's up . Prices will go up . If not who knows what will be for sale. I always say a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush . I have the Challenger R/T 6 speed . Love it . And great gas mileage . If you have children . The Charger would be the best car to have.

Wink

At the bottom of the ad it states:
Disclaimer
Price excludes government fees and taxes, any finance charges, any dealer document preparation charge, and any emission testing charge.
***Another $25,000.00...............................

I agree with KyChallengerR/T6spd, if you have children, the back seat would be more user friendly on the Charger...Main thing... buy what will make you happy and best suits your needs....
