got my SIDEPIPES on.!
Finally got them on today 6/01/09
.
.
It cuts down a little bit on my clearance..
Looks like I will not be able to lower the front like I wanted..
They Are NOT hooked up YET...(ran out of time)
but they will be..
And it will be a VERY EASY job to hook them up..
It was very easy to bolt them on..
actually weld the hangars on and then bolt the pipes to the hangars..
Took less than 2 hours..
.
.
.
.
.
I am in the last legs of getting the car like I envisioned it back in August '08, before I actually bought one..

Very nice......you are truly making that Challenger all yours....
What brand are the side pipes...they look like the old Hooker Headers
side pipes offered many years back.
Be sure and post some pictures from under your Challenger once you
get them hooked up...
All in all....very, very nice....

You definitely have it looking old school with the pipes and white lettered tires. Is the reason you didn't finish hooking them up because you had a hair appointment at Anything Go's Hair Salon?

They are made by Pertronix Performance Products in CA..
They are sold by JCWhitney
do a search for "sidepipes" on their site..
I paid $283.00 to the door.. (list for $440.00)
They are a Universal kit, comes in 63" & 73" & 83"
I got the 83" set..

Again, your Challenger is really looking the part.....The pipes reminded me of a guy who lived down the street from me (in Calif) when I was growing up (ok I never really grown up) who had a black 70 Cuda with side pipes (by Hooker) like yours. His Cuda had a BUILT 440 with "Black and Nasty" lettering on the rear quarters....it was loud, with a capital L.......He took his off as the Cuda became more of a racer and less showcar, but come to think of it, it was still loud (and fast). Your Challenger is truly one of a kind.....keep us updated on what's next.......
