Has anyone seen a shaker hood scoop for the Challenger? I know two companies did them for the Chargers. If you really want cool air that would be the way to go.

Seems this would require a whole new hood. In order to fit and look right one would need a hood without the two stock scoops.

Yeah I can't wait to see a shaker hood option, factory or after-market new hood or not.

I was thinking of putting in 71 cuda gills and make them functional for cooling the engine and use a shaker for ram air.

Does anyone know if the 2 hoodscoops on the 2009 R/ T Challenger are open for engine cooling or closed off ? I thought I read somewhere here that on the R/T and the SE models the hoodscoops were dummy"s.
Anybody? Thanks , FaT Cat[sm=gears.gif]

All the hood scoops are "functional" in that they allow air to enter to help cool the engine compartment. At least that's how I understand it.
