Default Installed My MOPAR CAI

I just installed the MOPAR (AEM) CAI in my SRT. I like the looks, but what a tight fit! You should allow at least 90 minutes to install it. The most time consuming task is the removal of the IAT sensor. Also, I found that assembling the 90 degree coupler to the inlet pipe before securing the heat shield worked best. The air horn/filter has to be installed with the small side downward and then you have to force it into position inside the rubber coupler. When installed, it is pressed tightly up against the power steering reservoir.

All in all, it was worth the effort, at WOT, my SRT has a deeper sound and the engine bay really draws a lot of attention.

Here are two photos of the finished effort. MY CAI came with an AEM decal, so I purchased a MOPAR one on E-Bay.

Nice touch. That looks good under the hood. I wish they would of dressed the R/Ts up a little better under the hood. I have removed the cover and have ordered parts to dress it up some. That MOPAR CAI looks awsome under your hood.
