in his defense, maybe he had installed it just before the photo was taken.
now if he drives around with it for a couple weeks then yes he is a poser.

The spoiler plate shoud say SRT6 I guess. There is a guy I know around here that dressed up his SE like a R/T. He bought a used R/T exaust system also and put that on. It's black and does look quit good.

Perhaps the "replacement" spoiler came with the SRT8 emblem and he just doesn't want to remove it for some reason.
It's hard to fault him when you see all the 1970-71 Convertible Hemi Challengers running around and you know Chrysler didn't make that many back in the day. It seems as if a 318 convertible will be rarer in the future as more individuals continue to convert them into RT/Hemi cars.
I myself have a "1970" Daytona (Clone) since I couldn't afford (nor would I pay) what they are selling for today. As long as you don't try to pass the car off as something it's not.....your options are wide open......
As for his SE.....I think most will know it's not an RT or SRT.....

Actually you are incorrect:

Check the "Mopar Supercenter" site....
SRT8 Spoiler:
This is an original replacement spoiler offered by Dodge.
#1GL20RXFAB, Matte Black includes SRT8 emblem

On the "Late Model Restoration Supply" site....
SRT8 Spoiler:
#DCP-82211606A, 08-09 Factory Rear Spoiler, SRT8 Challenger, with Emblem

As you can see, the emblem is included, so like I said, perhaps he just didn't want to remove it for some reason.........

WOW what a sleeper. He put the single exhaust on to fool people into a stop light match race. Brilliant. LOL just kidding. But if the ricer boys run him and win they might be inclined to post... SRT-8 Challenger goes down hard. It is his car and he can do what he wants, but upbadging is uncool and you really should just stripe it and add all the performance parts to help the SE look cooland perform better. Just don't add the R/T and SRT-8 badging. I have seen some really nice SEs out there and they stripe and add dual exhaust to upgrade their SEs. What I would like is to see an SE with a 6.4 dropped in and suprise some folks on the street. Looks of an SE and more power than an SRT-8. Now if your that guy or gal then you are cool.

Well at least he was able to get himself on over at DodgeChallengerRegistry.com, I was never able to. I tried 3 times, sent several email to the site admin and never heard a word back from them. So the heck with them, over rated non moderated site that's a complete waste of time when it comes to registering, IMHO. I got better things to do like post here for example.
If and I mean If I ever get around to registering with them over there, I'm going to be one of the last who does. Then I can waste "their" time for a change. Hey don't get mad, get even I always say!
