I went Englishtown Raceway in NJ last year. It was an awesome experience, but it would have been so much better if the weather cooperated and a big race track was used. The day of the SRT Experience, it rained pretty heavy. Three of the modules (shalom and the drag races) had to be set up in the parking lot. Also, Englishtown only has a small autocross track that the SRT staff said is the worst in the country. Because of the track condition and the rain, we could only go 75 mph. I should have flown or driven to a major track in the South or West. Oh well.

The cool thing is that you get to drive full line of SRT cars (i.e., Challenger, Charger, Cherokee, 300, and Caliber). Also you receive a DVD of your day (most cars have a camera a microphone). You'll be amazed at the off-the-line acceleration and sound of the Jeep!

I went last year to Vegas and met a few of the others from here on the forum. Had an absolute blast. Hey, you paid for it, you might as well take advantage of it. And another thing, it's their cars you get to thrash around.

I went to VIR July 2008. We had blast. I'm not sure what cars they use now, but this could be the last year to drive a Viper.

They didn't let anyone drive the Viper at Englishtown- only take your photo behind the wheel and try to sell you it mounted on plaque for $40.

Wow that's sad, we got drive and then had a ride-along with one of the drivers, to see what we did wrong.

We got the picture with the green one.

The reason we couldn't drive the Viper at Englishtown was the terrible autocross track that was made worse by the rain. I guess they didn't want any cracked-up cars.
