Default SRT Experience

I am wondering how many of you guys who have ordered an SRT Challenger are looking forward to the SRT Experience? [sm=gears.gif]

I can't wait to flog Chrysler's full line of SRTs- Viper, Charger, Challenger, Caliber, Magnum, and Cherokee.

See the SRT Experience web site for full details and videos:

Everyone must pre-register. Guests can attend but must pay $60 to cover meals. The SRT Experience runs from 8AM to 5PM. Anyone other than the SRT owner who wishes to drive must pay $500.

It is certainly one of the courses I am looking at taking.

Guests cannot ride in the cars. In fact, on the "Hot Laps" module, the SRT owner rides in the passenger seat while the professional driver shows him what the entire SRT line can do at full throttle.

I did the Richard Petty Driving Experience at Lowe's Motor Speedway two years ago. I was turning laps at 140mph - and the car was rock solid. I'm confident I could have easily done 175mph laps and not gotten the tires to squeal or chirp a bit.

With that said, I'm looking froward to an entire day of the SRT experience. Trying to talk my wife into doing it with me (not just as a guest). I think it's a great program and anyone who attends would benefit from it.
Looks like Englishtown NJ will be the closest one for me in '09.

What car did you drive at the Richard Petty Driving Experience?

I'll be at Englishtown too. Maybe all of us SRT owners in this area can meet up.

I drove the 48 Lowe's Home Improvement car - Jimmy Johnson's. I would have preferred Kasey Kahne's #9 Dodge Dealers UAW Dodge Charger, but that was in for service - along with Junior's #8 Budweiser car.

Everyone getting together at Englishtown sounds like a good plan. It's just going to depend on the date(s) everyone signs up for. Mine will depend on when the boss retires or goes on vacation - which ever comes first.
