I've noticed my OIL TEMP is 20 degrees higher than my coolant temp. Mine coolant temp runs right at 215. I'm eventually going to get the tuner to turn the fans on sooner and I may even change the thermostat.

Just curious to see how the spacing is on the AutoStick between 2nd and 3rd gears.. In the 7/08 Road & Track the Author complained quite a bit about that particular "issue".

The SRT engineers said that 245 degrees is still normal in the 6.1.

If you haven't popped your hood after a nice drive do so, the heat coming from under the hood is almost unbearable. I pop my hood release after every stop at the house it allows the heat to escape and the engine to cool more quickly.

Might consider getting a 180 tstat and predator tuner for fan temp adjustment.

So, I guess the SRT's hood scoops do perform a function!

Stock tstat is 206. Running 215 and up normally isn't a surprise.
