How many of you think that the Challenger would look best wearing "old school" white-lettered tires?

I know that Dunlop, Goodyear, and Cooper make them.

Definitely. And -- assuming the bolt hole pattern fits -- I'm getting 16- or 17-inch Rallye wheels to go with them. I really hate the looks of the modern wheels on a classic-designed car.

I think they would look great. But I wouldn’t consider white letter tires "old school". I'm sporting 32" BFG Mud/Terrains in white letters on my Jeep.

You have that luxury on trucks and SUVs, just flip the tire around and you have white letter tires. I like that look when I had my trucks, but for the most part I don't like it on cars. On my calendar for this month I have a 70 Ford Torino with black wall tires and it helps focus more on the rims then the tires, and back then the rims needed all the focus they could get. Technology back then wasn't great so steel rims was pretty much your only choice, just like the chrome around the windshield and doors. Bigger rims the white letters aren't so bad on, but smaller rims with white letters seem to say look at me. Now white walls.....don't know, would have to see it.

I have a picture somewhere of a 20" rim with white letter tires. Most definetly something I would want on my new Challenger. It really looked good on the car and added something that would stand out in todays blackwall world. The tires were low profile also.

I think it would look really good. I like the contrast on the tires...otherwise tires are so boring.
