You have that luxury on trucks and SUVs, just flip the tire around and you have white letter tires. I like that look when I had my trucks, but for the most part I don't like it on cars. On my calendar for this month I have a 70 Ford Torino with black wall tires and it helps focus more on the rims then the tires, and back then the rims needed all the focus they could get. Technology back then wasn't great so steel rims was pretty much your only choice, just like the chrome around the windshield and doors. Bigger rims the white letters aren't so bad on, but smaller rims with white letters seem to say look at me. Now white walls.....don't know, would have to see it.
