Default ESP

HI all, this may be a silly question but I guess it doesn't really matter. I was just reading the motor trend Jan. 09 issue about the r/t. They had great reviews only thing they said that they didn't like was that the r/t didn't have the ESP off switch like the srt-8 does. But then I look at the button on the dash of my 09 r/t 6-speed and it reads ( ESP off) switch. Am I missing something here?

There is a trick . As it tell's in your owner manual . If you push the button . It will turn it off enough to let the wheels spin in snow without the engine shutting down completely . But most know by now . And I was told my my service guy at local dealer . Hold the button in for 8 seconds and will will turn it off completely . Till you turn the car off or you touch the button again. Just have it pointed in s straight line and plenty of room with it off. I showed a Mustang what it does with it off today. The Devil made me do it.
