Are the B5 Blue Challengers out yet? I have not seen any on the road at all.

I just built the R/T Classic (B5 Blue) on the dodge website and noticed it was coming up with the employee pricing. I printed everything up and I’m going to my local dealership (tomorrow or Monday) and see if they follow through with that price I was quoted ($31,373). If they do I will put in my order.

I was watching the news the other day and some congressman was talking about a possible 5K coupon to purchase a new American vehicle to stimulate car buying. If this actually comes to pass plus the tax credit for all 2009 new cars, now would be an excellent time to buy a vehicle!

I was told by my dealer that employee pricing ended 3/31/09.
Hmmm. Hope you get the deal.

We are in the midst of a recession that hasn't been this bad since the depression. We always worry about inflation, but during recessionary times we really need to worry about deflation. Supply and demand says that if demand is not there then prices will drop to balance out the demand side...but if everyone is waiting on the sidelines for the prices to drop even further that will make things even worse because nobody will buy...it would be best to shop around...my local dealer wouldn't budge off sticker price...found a dealer in Atlanta, 2 hr drive up the road that came down 2.5k off sticker. I could have waited a few more months and saved another 1k with EPP, is that 1k really worth risking not being able to buy one when you want. I recommend to anybody that is waiting around...shop around, find the best deal and buy it. Don't look back...the enjoyment will be well worth it. My $.02

So I was over at my local dealership and of course this was all news to them. Anyway, they said the only thing we are offering is 0% financing for 3years or 2.9% for 6 years. They are selling the challenger at MSRP. I’m going to call around and see what else I can come up with.

Today the Dodge website shows no EP for the Challenger. 0% for 3yr, 2.9% for 4 years, and 5.9% for 5 years. This was for Indiana area.
