Default Redline The Movie. Don't waste your money

I went to the premiere last night as it was free and supporting my wife as she worked on it. She told me not to expect much of the movie. She was right. Worst movie ever. The cars were cool to look at for about a minute, but with the horrible script and lines, made it unbearable to watch. Luckily it ran under 90 minutes. The women were alright, but I am not a fan of the skeletal look with fakies. And in person, they even are skinnier looking than on screen.

Fast and The Furious, to me wasn't the greatest, but it wasn't bad to watch on HBO when I had some free time. Redline, well I wouldn't let someone pay me to have this movie on DVD.

all in all, 1 out of 10 stars, the 1 for the cars.

Why is it that it seems so many movies these days just plain stink? I think the problem is the writers have become so gimmick orientated that they don't focus on the plot, the script, the flow, or anything anymore. They make movies just to out do some one else's gimmicks.

Thanks for the warning Techman!

Definately a gimmick, All the cars were the Producers, he fronted the 30 mill to get it made, the story was also based on what he wanted the story to be about. It wasn't even backed by any of the studios. The main girl character was his ex fiance. I guess he had to show off what he has to the public.

Here is a summary of the cars, and from I heard from the crew that worked on the movie, the Porche carrerra GT, wasn't running that is one of the reasons they used it for a wreck. I said screw that, if it wasn't running and he didn't want it, i would have taken it, let it sit in my garage, I would wash and wax it. Sit in it. Who cares if it isn't running

Because Hollywood is almost devoid of talent these days and bean counters have too much control of the creative process. I’m looking forward tomorrow to the homage of Vanishing Point in Grindhouse.

Check out the web site to the film I am producing and directing: www.battlestarfanfilm.org I have to make sure I don’t go over budget…don’t want to dip into my Challenger down payment.

Grindhouse was awesome. I saw it last Friday. If you like campy old horror flicks, you will like this.

Based on that list of cars, I don't think I would have enjoyed it anyways. Most of those cars are way too rich for my taste.

Well I already know that, but how did it get to this point?
