I saw a preview for this last night on You Tube and was not very impressed. It seemed like a very cut up Cannonball Run flick, without acting, plot, acting, cars that interest me, acting, known good actors, and did i mention acting?
A movie that I would like to see a sequel to is the 90's "Gone in Sixty Seconds." A lot of good actors, good plot, and the cars all rocked, plus you know that there would be a 1967 GT 500 in it!

The original Gone in 60 Seconds was in 1974 and the sequel was in June of 2000.

I think what Nero meant was a sequel to the story line of the 2000 version of gone in 60 Seconds. Even though the 1974 version and 2000 version share the name, stealing cars, both include naming a Mustang "Eleanor," and various other parts. The two movies are not really related. The 2000 version included completely different characters and a different reason for stealing than the 1974 version and so forth; therefore, I would not necessarily call the 2000 version a sequel per sey, just a more modern version.

Ooops I meant 2000, has it been that long? Yes I was referring to the one with Nick Cage, that is the one I would like a sequel to. Having seen both I find that the newer one has a better story and better cars. However, I do enjoy watching the 1974 movie for having the longest car chase in a movie I have seen. What I can't understand, maybe because I did live in the 1970's, is why suckly cars were chosen for the 1974 movie. Roles can be a cool car but the others just were lame.
