My 1970 RT/SE 440 Magnum
Paint went on today. I took some photos of the sealer applied over my body work and surface prep, but had to get back to the office before the Vit C was applied. Maybe Wednesday I can get some more photos.
I'm excited to get it back,
Steve

You don't see to many in that color!
I too would like to see some pics, when you get a chance. There's nothing like seeing the car finished shining before your eyes for the first time[sm=drooldude.gif].

Happy to oblige with today's photos. Front and rear 3/4 views of Challenger. Also view of my buddy Joe wheelinig out our laquer paint on my 57 Thunderbird. In background is blue 55 Thunderbird and 59 el Camino. Met my goal of both cars painted before colder weather, and now I can reassemble over the winter and enjoy next year.

RE: My 1970 RT/SE 440 Magnum
UPDATE FOR YOU GUYS
Car was out of paint shop last week...vitamin c orange.
I drove it to the suspension shop. The steering gear box and one lower control arm needed work as well as bushing kit. Seems the slamming front end doing wheelies took a toll.
I get the car back Friday 11/30, for a quick trip to trans shop to set the kick down rod, then tuck it away in my building to finish reassembly over winter.
I'll get some photos outside, especially if it's sunny and post them for you.
Kind of a good Challenger week, my car coming home and the annoucnement of the new. I posted a couple new diecast, and magazine finds to the lists.

Great news. Putting them back together is always a fun part. Just like when you were a kid and putting a model car together, except this one is a lot bigger Good luck and I can't wait to see the finished product.
