but anyway...i know what you mean...my mirada does the same thing when i close the door..however, my stratus does not have a window frame, and it does not do this...i think that one of the reasons that newer cars do not, is the ark of the window..many newer cars have much steeper curves to the side glass than did your challenger, or my mirada, and that angle may keep more tension on things inside the door..?
