As a Christ follower, I try to be obedient. In the Bible, the Great Commission in Matthew 29:19-20 says:
19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
So bottom line we shared our faith because he commands us to do so.
He also tell us to love our neighbors as ourselves.
The intent was never to ridicule or infringe on anybodies rights.
All I can do is share my faith.
Nobody is going to make anybody believe anything.
