I agree with you deranged.
It is not the 1st look that gets you because God made us that way. It is the 2nd look that gets you.
Job 31:1 "I made an agreement with my eyes. I promised not to look at another woman with sexual longing.
The 2nd look is usually where the sexual longing is.
Matthew 5:28 “But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”
Here is a good saying by C. S. Lewis, “If you look upon ham and eggs and lust, you have already committed breakfast in your heart.”

We shouldn’t look at another woman in a way that would diminish our commitment to our wife.
