According to him no dealer should really be taking money for Challenger orders. You can be put on a list and if they honor that list is up to them. He has promised Challengers to myself and one other guy, that's it. He was figuring he could probably get only two if the demand is going to be high. I also pay a hair over dealer cost on cars from him, I got an 06 Charger R/T for well under 30k that stickered for 35xxx, I'm not supposed to say the exact amount. Anyway I know of a Harley dealer that got into deep sh#* for taking deposits up to 3 years in advance on bikes when they were really hot. They'd be making interest on all these deposits! Well, H-D found out and cut their bike allowance in half. Needless to say they sold the dealership about 2 years later.
