Exactly, money in family isn't supposed to determine who has which position. The households that I have seen work the best is where the father plays the role of leading the family by setting the example of how to run things & sets many of the rules and the mother is the care taker who smooths things out. This does not mean the husband/father should be abusive to his family by any means, just enforce the rules and be sure to live by them because actions speak louder than words. Mother's tend to be better at being the glue that holds the individuals in the family together when there are disputes.
