Default RE: Point Man - Week #7

Sorry for not posting often, School and work and family matters have my time preoccupied. As for RLSH700 statements, that is true. Moms tend to be the heart and souls of most families. Right now we have a family emergency with my father. Before my dad went on a business trip, we went out to lunch with a missionary from our church. He claimed that his left leg was asleep or limp; we figured that was from him not getting surgery on his right, and he had a headache. (My dad carries most of his weight on his other leg so I figured it was from that) The missionary gave him some aspirin and he went on a plane a few hours later.

After he came home, he claimed he had a stroke so he went to the hospitable. The doctors did MRI’s and Cat scans and discovered that he had two strokes (one on each side of the brain), and slight bleeding the brain. God has blessed him. It has not affected his brain function or attitude. He is just as hard headed, and cantankerous as he was before. In fact, when I found this out (they withhold the fact that he made have had a stroke so I would not worry during finals.) he said that he went to a meeting almost immediately after the second one. He also left the hospitable. He told the people he would not stay unless he could bring his laptop, and nurse said he could get it ( I am assuming that she thought he meant out of the car) he drove home, in a hospitable gown halfway tucked in slacks and got his laptop so he would not have any down time.

It is not surprising (to me) that he had a stroke. Horrible diet, no exercise, high blood pressure, not taking medicine for the blood pressure, and constantly running and working finally caught up with him. So now he has to. Anyway I posted this to show that one of the responsibilities of any father or husband is to take care of himself so that he can take care of their family. Please keep my family in your prayers.
