From what I could tell, the person who started the topic seemed to be doing it for no other reason than to piss people off being that he's made rude posts before. I don't necessarily agree with deleting it though. . . I prefer locking. It's annoying to return to a topic you posted in to see that it's gone and you can't even see if anyone responded to you.
