There is a sysytem out there that is a pretty good idea, its called the boomerang. I heard about it through a co-worker, basically it is hardwired into the car in a hidden place, somewhere you don't even know about. When the car goes missing you make the call, and through their network they locate the car using GPS. I havent researched it yet but you can check it out at
