Take a look at E-Bay Motors and Auto-Trader .com. Compare it to other cars in the same shape and with the same engine combinations. That will give you some idea as to the value of the car. I would not get too caught up in the # matching unless the car is an investment. But you appear to want the car for personal enjoyment and then you have to look at what its price is to you and your enjoyment of the experience. Cars should be driven and enjoyed, but some people spend so much money to restore them, they become paranoid to drive them on the street. Out goes the fun factor.
