RE: Giving more than 100% of yourself
Where I work they do the same crap. What the idea is to push yourself harder than you usually do, however it is stupid to state: "We want you to work 115%." I think the Simpson's Homer at Bat, i think the ep is called, said it best, "It is impossable to give more than 100%" I do try to set goals to improve and find that I do get better as time goes on but one must have to drive to improve to do such.
