I honestly don't understand what all the fuss about a B pillar is anyway. The original Challengers had a metal strip that ran along the front edge of the rear window. If you left the rear windows up -- as I always did -- it could have been mistaken for a B pillar by anyone who worries about such things. If a B pillar adds stability to the car, who WOULDN'T want it? Besides, in all honesty, most people are going to have ALL the windows up most of the time for either heat in the winter or air conditioning in the summer. My '70 didn't have air conditioning and I still never rolled down the rear windows. I never sat back there. I was too busy driving.
