Word on the street has the 5.7 and 6.1 upping their power output by the very same means.
Seems we have some future horsepower increases coming our way
Or its all speculation and we have a natural progression towards more HP.
It sounds like such changes may not pop-up immediately as the output numbers on the 6.1L are the same, but I believe they will get it eventually. From what I have read, the new V10 actually used some parts from the 6.1L (the valves I think) which lead to the displacement increase, but not the heads unfortunately; therefore, it is still NOT a hemi. I think it is just a matter of time as this technology appears to help the fuel economy and emissions. It is also from what I have heard capable of making MDS more efficient.
