RE: Dodge Journey
Skippy, I'm having trouble understanding what you are trying to say.
The Journey appears to be an attempt to make a "crossover" (a station wagon under a new and more "attractive" name) in the current market. Whether this succeeds or not will be interesting to watch. Chrysler has made a few station wagons in the recent years. Some have been successful [Pt Crusier & Caliber (so far)], others haven't (the Magnum & Pacifica). I'm not sold on the whole return to the station wagon/"Crossover" market thus far, I think it will be popular for a little while with only a few models being successful with a lot of models that attempt and fail to succeed.
I honestly think Chrysler should invest less in niche markets that certain manufactures already have control of and instead focus on providing a more competitive line in the mainstream products, but I could be wrong about this.
