Default RE: Will the new Challenger hurt the value of the original Challenger?

First off the Magnum is a station wagon no matter how many HP are under the hood. C'mon...muscle car. NO! A fast wagon...OK.

Secondly, Die hard Charger fans and owners of the Dukes of Hazard DVD box sets were not thrilled with a four door Charger. They (I believe) will LOVE Challenger. Heck, remove the Charger badge and you cannot show me a more powerful and good looking American sports sedan. The logo just doesn't match up.

With due respect I think you are trying to compare apples & oranges. Success or failure of Challenger is not dependent or predicated on the Magnum or Charger. This car will stand on its own & in my view will actually act as a rising tide for Chrysler in general.
