A buddy of mine is currently on his 3rd Hurst Olds, each of which have come equipped with T-tops AND lightning rods / "his & hers shifters". He complains constantly about leaks in his t-tops and has done so for the two previous Hurst Olds that he's owned as well. Another friend has a `90 or `91 (can't recall exactly) Nissan 300ZX with t-tops and those leak as well.
Personally, I like the look of t-tops, but hate the consequences...
Maybe you're right. Looking back, I've never kept a car longer than 6 years. Maybe those T-Tops would've been a problem later. I plan to keep my Challenger a lot longer. I don't put as many miles on cars as I used to.
